Pierce Brosnan :He may no longer credit the ‘Bond man’ epithet, having decided to quit the role after living in for four films, but the man has enough sex appeal and magnetism by own clout to stir the city. Although his recent visit to Mumbai was on official business, Brosnan is no stranger to India, having visited 15 years ago when he was here to do a film with Ismail Merchant, Shashi Kapoor and Saeed Jafferey, “It was my best movie,” he says of The Deceivers. On a quickexit, Brosnan promised he’d be back, to shoot his forthcoming film, which he intends taking through Los Angeles, London and India. ‘A great sense of humour; a great people with a great culture’, is what the actor credits Indians with.
