The
Gir Lodge is situated on the edge of teh world-renowned Gir Forest
& Sanctuary, which is the only and the last habitat of the
Asiatic Lions. The tranquil Gir Forest is a deciduous jungle offering
the nature lovers a variety of Flora and Fauna. It is also home
to leopard, jungle cat, rusty spotted cat, chittal, sambhar, neelgai,
four-borned antelope, wild boar & hare to name a few. For
bird watchers it is a paradise filled parakeet, peacock, green
pigeon, king fisher, tailor bird, yellow wag tail, blue fly catcher,
Indian night czar, & red waited lapwing, again so to name
a few.

The lodge offers 29 rooms including 2 suites, 8 deluxe air conditioned
rooms and 19 standard non air conditioned rooms. All the rooms
have balconies and offer a view of the Hiram river and the Vasadore
hills.
Facilities
& Services :
Open Gypsy for jungle safari, wild life library, car park, driver’s
room, lockers and doctor on call, laundry.
Sasan hall is available for meetings, conference and banquets,
which can accommodate 40 people. Lawns for banquet functions can
cater to 125 people.
Recreational Family - A wide choice of indoor and outdoor games
such as valleyball, basketball, cricket, Frisbee, dart, board,
carrom, chess, draft and Chinese checker etc.
For the kids there is a machan, swings, seesaw, slide and sand
pit and tyre hoop.
Dining

Hiran restaurant serving buffet meals with a variety of Kathawadi,
North Indian, Chinese and Continental dishes.
The Lounge offers tea and snacks, with a view of the Hiran river
