Love Overboard
: Janet Evanovich.
Don’t expect any of the sassiness of her more famous protaganist
Stephanie Plum. Don’t expect
this to have any of the quirky humour either. This is an out
and out romantic novel so don’t expect weird. Well, not
entirely at least. With Evanovich the strange has a tendency
to
surface. So the heroine is a chef who cannot cook-and will never
learn. The hero is a sea captain who falls in love at first
sight.
But the real star is a ghost and a dead body that is fairly highly
strung.
Brief : If you like
romance but like to laugh even more, this one is for you. HarperCollins,
Rs. 220. |
